IELTS Listening

The Listening module consists of four questions. The questions are based upon recordings that will be played once. To prepare for the Listening section, the candidate needs to:

  • 1. Recognize the main ideas and specific factual information
  • 2. Develop strategies to locate answers at the very first time, as the recording will not be played again
  • 3. Understand the opinions, attitudes and purposes of the conversation/monologue
IELTS Reading

The Reading module consists of 40 questions. The questions are based upon three long passages taken from material taken from journals, books, magazines and other relevant print media. To prepare for the Reading section, the candidate needs to:

  • 1. Reading to get a gist of the question material
  • 2. Reading for main ideas
  • 3. Reading to elucidate information
  • 4. Scanning the text for further ideas

IELTS Writing

  • 2. Avoid any sort of plagiarism
  • 3. Present clear, well-organised and consistent arguments

IELTS Speaking
